 Health center « Spa Acuvida Talaso »
All hotels in Cayo Guillermo provide professional massage performed usually on the same building as the gym or sometime in more exotic place like huts by the pool or at the sea. The cost massages in Cuba depend heavily on the number of stars of the hotel. One hour massage can cost anywhere from 9 to 60 CUC.
Located on the nearby island of Cayo Coco, a beautiful health center offers a variety of massages and wrapping in a charming environment with several swimming pools with seawater, some of which are heated. Popular during the months from December to February, especially during cold front. The site Acuvida Talaso is located about thirty kilometers from Cayo Guillermo. A transport service is available for hotel guests wishing to be pampered and relax in the jet swimming pools.
Several services are offered including three hours packaging including bathrobes, beach towels, sandals and a locker for your belongings. All you need is your swimsuit and CUC course: o) It is possible to enjoy the facilities (without message) for three hours (10 CUC). If you want to leave a tip, it is best to wait until the end of your care, before leaving the premises. The tips will be divided between therapists of the day.
The Spa is open from 9 am to 17 pm six days a week. To book your package, you must go to the hotel lobby or the representative of the Spa Acuavida, who makes his rounds every day to all hotels in Cayo Coco and Cayo Guillermo. Infusions of tea are available to spa guests and alcoholic beverages are also available ($) at the poolside bar. Domestic beer (Crystal and Bucanero) and international (Heineken, Corona, etc..) juice, rum, soda water, etc.. Other than the health care, there is a beauty salon and a drugstore in the area of the spa. The robes with Spa Acuavida Talaso logo can be purchased at the store.

There is a special Thursday for only 39 CUC.
 Opt for treatment without wrappings (mud wraps) during the winter months. The wrapping is done outside, and it is almost a torture with strong winds. We enjoyed relaxing in a Cleopatra bath!
